Alexandria Photo Tour by the Phaeton Group
When the Alexandria Theatre closed in February 2004, the Western Neighborhoods Project immediately asked for a chance to archivally photograph the interior. The science media organization, Phaeton Group soon after volunteered their talented services and the building's new owners kindly accomodated.
On May 27, 2004 Dr. David West Reynolds and Phaeton Group were given access to photo-archive the closed theatre for a full three hours. Here are some gorgeous highlights, with some commentary from Dr. Reynolds.
