Yeah I remember buying the Saturday matinee tickets at school and seeing great films such as: 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, The Seven Voyages of Sinbad, etc., along with cartoons. I think that "A Hard Day's Night" (The Beatles) was shown at the Parkside too and my sister and I would stay through 4 or 5 shows a day. I encourage all of you to explore the variety of photos at the URL's I posted as there is some exiting images from the City from "our time" growing up. I was one kid who explored all over the City even though I grew up in the Sunset/Parkside. My father owned a cigar store on Market St. near Jones and I spent a lot of time downtown because of that. I know the WNP is dedicated to the Sunset and Richmond districts mostly, but San Francisco had SO MUCH to offer all over.
