Re: Muni musings

There was a MUNI strike about 1975 or so, when I was still at USF. During that time, I walked from there to my part-time job at Bank of America at #1 Powell, since all downtown parking was filled up by 7 a.m. It was a straight shot downhill to Geary, then downhill again along Geary & then down Powell, total time, about 90 minutes. Fortunately, somebody from work would drive me back to my car parked at USF on their way home. This went on for a week or so, and I managed to lose weight without even trying!
