Interesting rumor that Salinger kept writing while in his self-imposed seclusion and that there are many unpublished novels and stories stashed. Wouldn't that be something?
I would think probably not true, but...can a writer just quit? Wouldn't all those unwritten stories just bust the seams of your brain?
Amazing (or maybe not) that the 'Catcher..' is still selling after all these years.
