As a relative "newcomer" to the message boards, I seem to recall a mention of "fact"--or fallacy? in reference to the time frame of the Forest Hill Clubhouse construction. In today's SF Chronicle within the 96 Hours section (page 29) Street date portrays Pacheco Street and Magellan Avenue, Forest Hill, SF. Picture #3 is of Forest Hill Clubhouse with write up "...and association members constructed it on weekends". --ed--Stephanie Wright Hession, 96hours@sfchronicle.com
Your stories please!
PS..I did not grow up in Forest Hill, but my wedding reception was held in this building 30+ years ago....so I have a "stake" in this subject.
