Hi S. I took the ferry back and forth to Alcatraz every day for the better part of two years when I worked there for the Park Service, except I did it in a reverse route from the kids who once lived on the island and rode the boat to school.

Very relaxing way to start the day, I gotta admit, especially since it was just park staff aboard for the morning run.
