Hi Frank. I have a hunch you were riding on the Army transport "General Frank M. Coxe." It plied a route between Angel Island, Alcatraz and Fort Mason on a daily basis, with occasional side trips to the Presidio and Fort Baker.
So what was your YMCA group up to on Angel Island?
