Loved MT&CC, it's one of my very favorite childhood memories. My single mother would save money to rent the cabin for a week during the summer for our family of 4. Pretty tough on a Muni secretary's salary, but she did it.

All the swimming a 9-year old could want, ping pong and bingo games. Life was great back in the summer of '68. Still have the 8mm home movies, too! I found out you should never, ever fall asleep in the sun for 3 hours...OUCH!! Solarcaine was my friend after that episode.

One of my not so fond memories was the trip home on Sunday night, crossing of the GG bridge right into the fog and the temperature taking a nose-dive. Windows rolling up and the heater coming on in the car. Unpacking the car in my tank top and shorts was awful!

But those memories of our fun in the sun live on!
