Wow, Paul, too bad Mr. Covey wasn't still at Wash by the time I got there. Sounds like his approach was far more engaging than Gail Uyehara. *shudder*

Those of you who went into the teaching profession (such as Paul) will know that a thank-you many years after is appreciated. I've helped several alums pass on their thanks to former teachers, to the enjoyment of both.

The teachers who've made the deepest impressions on me were my art teachers - Pat O'Reilly at Presidio and the dearly departed Mary Marshall at Washington. Many other fabulous teachers in ancillary subjects, and I recall with equal clarity several horrid ones from Argonne, Presidio and Wash!
