I remember going there with a group from work one night circa 1976, and then to dinner with my boss and her husband at their apartment a block away at the NW corner of 30th & Judah. What a surprise--that apartment building, built circa 1965, includes a swimming pool! Even by then, though, the owners were being dinged by their insurance company, and they closed it off & used the space for storage. Great trivia question, though, when you're driving up and down the streets of the Sunset some foggy night. Guess which building on this block has a swimming pool?
