My late husband, Ernie Ibarra, and I spent many fun evenings at Dick Bassi's Club Sirocco through the 1970's. Dick was a former St. Mary's football player and always took groups to Kezar for 49er games. He had a flask that looked like a ham sandwich in which he carried his little snort. Dick & his wife Leah were wonderful hosts, always putting together some kind of trips, like the Fun Train to Reno in the snow. We had some great times. Dare I say, those were the days!
