I've never heard of the Far West Hobby Shop myself (before my time I assume), but I found a July 1936 catalog from there.

It was located at:

406 Clement St.

Looks like the owners may have been George & Martha Smoots, and it's said to be the "largest antique firearms dealer in the west".
