The National Park Service just put up a new web page titled "The Archaeology at Merrie Way" on its GGNRA website at:
www.nps.gov/goga/historyculture/merrie-way-case-study.htm
This is the "landing page" as it introduces the archaeolgical work at Merrie Way. From that first page, you can link, or "drill down", to more information in the following chapters:
The Rides at Merrie Way
The Stands at Merrie Way
Merrie Way Excavation Methods
Artifacts found at Merrie Way
Archaeological Feature Findings
Intepreting Merrie Way
Volunteers at Merrie Way
There's some great information here about recreational activities in the Sutro District, including a link where you can download my 2006 report " "The Merrie Way & The Lands End Street Railway Abbreviated Cultural Landscape Report."
