Ok jb. Here's a Rock 'n' Roll story (true).

My first electric guitar was given to me when I was about 10. It was big, bulky, heavy, and overall a real piece of $#|*, so I didn't use it too long. A couple years later, a friend up the street convinced me to let him re-shape it and paint it to resemble Eric Clapton's Gibson SG (when Cream first started). I agreed and he went to work on it. Truthfully his painting looked ok (although nothing like Clapton's) but the electronics didn't work anymore, so it was totally useless.

Around that time, I watched The Who on The Smothers Brothers TV Show doing "My Generation" and I stared in awe while instruments were being smashed and a bass drum exploded. It gave me an idea. A day or so later, I took the guitar outside in front of the house and began smashing it on the sidewalk and the telephone pole that was there until the guitar turned into kindling. It was fun, but I think a few neighbors probably thought I was crazy. It's not my fault if they didn't watch the Smothers Brothers, right?

Sex and Drugs? Sorry, but I'll never kiss, toke, and tell...hahaha
