Just read a bit in the WSJ that school kids are assigned and graded for building Leprechaun traps, devices to catch the lil' fairie coblers. Seems my memories of St. Paddy's day in grade school was just to wear green and search for shamrocks on the playground lawns.
Given the move to PC, I am surprised any such traditions are even mentioned and seems there is a backlash from parents who see this as one more project they have to work on with their kids to produce. Must raise hell with yoga time.
Anyway, did I miss something or is this a new trend?
