Re: Traffic Central

Like Judy, I've always had alternate ways of getting around in SF to avoid delays. One of my favorites involved taking Vicente Street to avoid the frequent stop signs that were being installed on Taraval. Six years ago, I posted [http://www.outsidelands.org/streetwise-outside-in.php] that Vicente then had 20 stop signs between Portola Drive and Great Highway (plus four traffic lights--Portola, West Portal, 19th Avenue, and Sunset Boulevard). On my most recent visit last week, Vicente had acquired two MORE stop signs, for a total of 22! They are not quite at every single block, but getting closer all the time!
