Re: Rock Out

Around '66 or '67 I was the drummer in a garage band on 43rd Avenue called "The Ruptured Spleen." I wasn't very good on the drums and our lead singer/tambourine player was tone deaf, but we sure had a lot of fun. Our repertoire was limited to Gloria, Satisfaction and Louie Louie, so we simply played them over and over again.
It's my understanding that once I was replaced with a decent drummer, they changed the name to The Nuclear Test Band and got some actual "gigs" playing at Holy Name.
