I recall this as a fast fad in the late 50's and laughed when guys fall on their keisters when the floors were waxed. Maybe that's what ended the craze.

Funny how kids fads would stimulate local merchants.
I remember how grown up it seemed to go into an adult store and conduct business, paying with penny change no doubt.

Any of you recall getting one of those knucklembuster rings engraved or hitting the hardware store to build on some crazy new idea?

I do recall merchants in Westlake were very kid friendly.
