Hi Steve!

I grew up on 46th & Ulloa. The folks bought the house in 1958 for the ungodly sum of $16,250.00. (Heck, my credit cards have higher limits than that!!)

The Sand Dunes was in full swing at 46th & Taraval, Edgewater Delicatessen...

And every house had its patch of lawn in front - before they all got paved over.

Fleishacker pool, Zoo, the park, and the beach, really did make it the perfect place to be a kid in the big city.

The 18 Sloat running down the street to go to Playland when we didn't want to ride our bikes...

Good times, indeed!
