just regaled Christmas dinner guests with the woodened-planked broiled mashed potato border that deliciously walled off a ground sirloin steak at the Red Chimney. Best mashed potatoes I can recall from my younger carb daze, it was always a special treat to dine there and maybe the only place in Stonestown to have a full bar. Not that it mattered since this was during my mature ginger ale period 10-17 y/o.

I have a huge kitchen blow torch and am not afraid to use it. May toss some tatters in a pastry bag, line the dinner plates and toast the tops to that delicious Ricky’s crispness. Or just put a large needle on the bag and shoot up right after my insulin injection😜
