I have a San Francisco Ice Arena brochure, undated, but probably from the early 1950s. The address was 1557 - 48th Avenue. Checking the Google map online, that conforms to 5 similar looking buildings, with addresses from 1547 to1563 today.
The brochure says that the admission price for children under 12 was 50 cents, juniors under 17 paid 75 cents, and adults paid 90 cents. Skate rental was 35 cents for all. They also promoted their birthday parties, which featured ice cream, decorated cake and soft drinks for a minimum of 10 children, at $1.75 each! Admission and skate renal was included in the birthday party package.
