1957 Quake

Just before the quake, in Mark Twain Elementry School on 41st & Ortega we were in Spelling and then the quake. I remember the girl set next me I said "Wow, this is the Roller!"! When the continued nothing more than the spin, and the teacher (not ours this day) didn't go, not to own at all to contiue to work spelling. My sister (Jr. High above Mark Twain) when school met them they left to school rooms and went outside. Our home was on 42nd between O & P, saw we Mom she must have not I remembered if I now. My Dad works in City Hall Court and he left court with the Judges onto to Van Ness Ave. My Dad's father - his Emil was 12 with 14 & 16 brothers in 1906. Saw I he saw their the Quake, and yet Emil saw nothing but the Fires. Jim
