I took Irish Step for a while from The Ann Healy School of Dance at 15th & Taraval. I stopped when the kids at school started calling me names and making fun of me.

My sister went there for Modern Jazz. I still remember a recital she was in - a cringe-worthy performance only a mother could love... LOL

Looking back, I can see how dance classes really helped in child development - besides the fantastic exercise, they taught coordination, discipline, and a lot of teamwork.
