Those wonderful smells

Does anyone still remember those wonderful smells that always existed down by the Ferry Building. They were stronger around Mission or Howard on the Embarcadero. I always thought it was coffee or Cocoa. I remember Hills Brothers was down there. It was real strong but pleasant. Those were the days when most of the trucks you saw on the Embarcadero had solid rubber tires. I sure that those wonderful exotic aromas haven't existed for a long time, but they were sure characteristic os the waterfront of San Francisco.
