Yes I remember Pinelake Meat Market and Grocery Store. I lived around the corner on 24th avenue. I was born in 1955. My brothers and I would go to the Grocery store and buy a hard roll. We would avoid Stan. We would go next door to the meat market where Hugo and Nello Chechi would give us the scraps from the bologna and salami that were cut on the slicer. We would make our sandwich. I worked in the meat market for a short time as a young boy. I found this site LOOKING for Chechi Meats. BOB Chechi, a retired SF Police Officer just passed away and I wondered if he was related.
