I've always been a kind of amateur mimic, and back around 1959 I learned to do the taped message from the Fun House at Playland. It's the voice that instructed the kids about how to use a sack on the slide so that they wouldn't get hurt coming down.
This message was on a continuous loop tape, using a grumpy man's voice to blare the words in a rhythmic manner from the speaker mounted overhead in the starting area; an attic like space where the air was too warm and held the odor of stinky socks.
"Do not go down the slide in rubber soles or in your bare feet!
Keep your hands off the side rails, your feet together, and your back straight!
