Sterling Edwards was the builder of the Edwards Special, a car that I believe, competed in the larger classes such as Cad-Allard, D-Jag,Etc.
He was of the Edwards Wire Rope family, manufacturers of the cable car rope.
The Cad-Allard represents the only instance of which I'm aware that Cadillac engines were raced.
