It is hard to believe that it has been two decades since this thread was originally posted. Paul Judge suggested that those of us still above the roses from the early days post memories once again. So here goes, but they are a bit more personal this time around.

1. The Friday night dances (fights) at the Golden West YMCA as sponsored by the Beavers;
2. Leading the Lincoln guys to tear down the goalposts at Kezar at the end of the Riordan/Bellarmine game;
3. Standing in line with other under age guys to buy-up at the mom and pop on Pine and Buchanan on weekend nights;
4. Surfing at the foot of Sloat in September after cutting the last classes of the day; and
5. Friday night meetings of the Rat Patrol in the Sunset Dunes (now SI) until the cops would;d chase us away.
