This was part of Father Peyton's "Rosary Crusade" ("The Family that prays together, stays together.") That event on the polo fields at Golden Gate Park took place in 1962. I was in second grade (at Our Lady of Mercy in Westlake) and attended with my dad. I remember it very well.
