It probably was the late 70's. I worked at the Parkside Theater from 1978 to about 1981 off and on as a Projectionist and Asst. Manager. I was a Senior in High School (McAteer) when I started and then I was a college student at SF State.

We used to run the Led Zepplen concert movie "The Song Remains the Same" many times during the year as it was a favorite of the teenage crowd from the neighbourhood. We were guranteed a packed house of 400 odd seats in the balcony. And yes Zimms was the 24 hour coffee shop on the corner of 19th and Taraval. Great burgers from what I can remember...
