Beertown - Richmond Brawlers T-Shirt
$30
Beer Town was the name given to a five-block stretch of Fulton Street which started in the 1870s with saloons servicing patrons of the Bay District Race Track (1875-1896). Beer Town was never popular with the Richmond District Improvement Club whom ultimately won their battle for a more respectable neighborhood. Today there are no saloons in the former Beer Town. The only remnant of that time which remains is the "waiting" shelter on the Golden Gate Park side of Fulton Street facing Seventh Avenue. The shelter once overlooked all of the action in Beer Town.
Carville - Falcons Bicycle Club T-Shirt
$30
In the late 19th century, as electric streetcars gained popularity, San Francisco's railway companies started selling off obsolete horse drawn streetcars for $20 each . Many of these were brought out to the sand dunes of the yet to be developed Outer Sunset district and converted into houses, offices, and even a coffee shop. By 1901 there was over fifty families living in what the press dubbed as "Carville". One of these cars was the clubhouse for "The Falcons", an all female bicyling club.
Fleishhacker Diving Club T-Shirt

Fleishhacker Pool, the largest swimming pool in the United States, opened in 1925 near San Francisco's Parkside neighborhood of the sunset district. It had a capacity of 6 million gallons and could accommodate 10,000 swimmers. It was so large that lifeguards required row boats to patrol it. It closed in 1971, and now lays buried below the San Francisco Zoo parking lot.
