Over 400 of you donated to help us save art and artifacts from the Cliff House auction on March 11-12 and we did it! Just shy of 60 items were purchased, ranging from a small lot of 1870s photographs depicting the Sutro Baths area to the iconic Whitney family Totem Pole, and will be part of the Western Neighborhoods Project collection now.
Since you helped us save them, you'll have a voice in our short-term and long-term plans to make them accessible to the public once again. Join us on Thursday, May 20th at 6:00pm for the second Community Listening Session that will inform how and where we are able to share the Cliff House experience for generations to come. Hear what the Dream Team of Alexandra Mitchell, ACT Art Conservation, John Lindsey, The Great Highway gallery, and our own Nicole Meldahl have been working on since the auction closed, learn how you can support Phase 2 of this endeavor, and bring your own ideas to share!
This free event will be hosted via Zoom and pre-registration is required. If you do not receive a confirmation email when you register, please contact us.
After completing registration and/or payment, you should receive a confirmation email almost immediately, if you don't, let us know with the contact form.
