Join former Western Neighborhoods Project board member and historic preservation consultant Richard Brandi for a history walk exploring the Lincoln Manor residence park. Plus! Three other residence parks that never fully made it, but remnants remain: Hillside, Junipero Place, and Sutro Heights. Highlights include a ship captain’s mansion and two 1904 houses with dramatic architecture. This walking tour is based on Brandi’s book "Garden Neighborhoods of San Francisco, the Development of Residence Parks 1905-1924," by McFarland Publishing.

Our journey begins at 10:00am and takes about 2 hours. Grade: moderate.
