The museum -- or rather the entire Aquatic Park Bathhouse -- is undergoing renovation will be reopening in stages. The first floor of the Casino building where the museum was housed is already open, but currently minus the models and other exhibits.

But it's worth a visit just to see the amazing art-deco/psychedelic murals on the walls that were obscured for so long by exhibit cases.

I haven't worked at the Museum for years but my good friend and NWP contributor Judy Hitzeman still does and might be able to offer more info on when the exhibits will return.
