Alvy, I appreciate your concern. Might the purchase of Spandex help contain the universe and your fears? Spandex seems to spread and cover everything from Alviso to Zamboanga. As for sea level rise - an interim fix might be a good pair of fishing waders, sand bags, and if you can arrange to do so, a seance to raise the ghost of San Francisco’s most celebrated engineer Michael O’Shaughnessy. Perhaps pushing the Moon into a more distant orbit might decrease its influence on tidal fluctuation. Sun shades placed in orbit over the mid-Latitudes could cool the ocean helping to ameliorate atmospheric warming. In the mean time - something that everyone can do is to please remain safe and follow the scientifically effective health protocols that would curb this damned global plague.
