I was living out of the area when 222 Stanyan was demolished.
I saw the picture of it half demolished in the aluni mag.
Sad.

What's much sadder is there is no mention on the memorial bronze placque set in stone at the entrance to "Negroso Field" on Parker st. Not one mention this was the home of St. Ignatius H.S. Field. There are a lot of names of very generous people on the placque, but no mention of at least the history of SI being there.
