I was just a kid in grade school. I remember this fabulous president who was adored by everyone. The principal, Miss Wiggums at Mark Twain elementary school, a big tall unattractive woman who was one of the meanest women I can ever remember in my life, came into our class room crying. That was a shock in itself. The classroom television was turned on and we watched the unfolding story. To see that tragedy at such a young age was really mind numbing. School was then dismissed. But it's something you can never forget.
