I was walking to class at CCSF when I noticed a couple of female students crying, as they walked along. When I arrived at class, I heard a radio playing loudly. I figured that someone would be getting into trouble when the teacher arrived. But, then the teacher walked in. He was having a hard time composing himself. He then said that he couldn't conduct class, so we were free to leave or stay and listen to the intercom system. The intercom was transmitting radio news. He had told us what had happened in Dallas.
I went out to the courtyard to look for my brother. While waiting there, the student body President, Dennis Sweeney came out and lowered the flag to half mass. When my brother arrived, we went home to spend the weekend watching history on TV.
