When I was going to San Francisco State in the early eighties, The Parkside was a really cheap movie theatre.

You could only sit in the balcony, because the lower level was a day care during the day, you could see all the play equipment, when the lights came up.

I will always remember this theatre because it's where I saw "This is Spinal Tap" and there was just the faintest hint of urine as I sat and watched the movie.

You just don't have movie theatres like that anymore.
