Miramar and Ocean Avenue, looking southwest - August 1929

Miramar and Ocean - 1929

The billboard to the left advertises railway trips to Lake Tahoe, while Ingleside Realty Company on the corner pushes Westwood Park home resales. The southwest corner of Miramar and Ocean is a drugstore, and the rubble in the foreground is being transformed to...? In 2005 it's a gas station. Many of the residences in the background going towards DeMontfort still stand in the 21st Century.
