The Western Neighborhoods Project has acquired a collection of 262 negatives documenting buildings throughout the westen neighborhoods, mostly in the Richmond and Sunset districts. The photos were all taken in 1951 and we are not sure of the provenance, but they seem to all simply document buildings and addresses and nothing else.

We're providing the map below to illustrate the locations,

a red icon indicates that the negative has not been digitized,

a yellow icon indicates that an image is available online.

We plan to continue to work on scanning the collection, we're unsure of the interest in the subjects, if you'd like to request that a particular address be scanned, please use the links that appear at the map locations
